Final Magazine Draft

I have acted upon my Ways Forward by making my coverlines smaller and all on the left because English speakers read left to right, adding to this if it is displayed on a magazine stand horizontally the coverlines will all be easily readable. I made the date in a numerical order instead of it being written out because it is quicker to read and takes up less space on the magazine so that is it not an eyesore. As well as the price, issue number and barcode I have made them smaller so yet again they will not distract from the main image and coverlines but are still noticeable to the reader due to the white font contrasting from the black background.
I chose a small tag line "wanting to dance" to fit underneath the main title to make my magazine unique and specific to my brand. I have added a static texture to the black background because the conotations of static are often forbidden and the breaking down of technology.

Reflection: I think that my composition with the title and image are good and look cohesive together

Ways Forward:
  • Making the date less specific
  • Having the main coverline be the biggest so it stands out the most
  • Making the font look more professional
