This magazine is a collage of many other magazine images with a musical note positioned in the centre, this lets the audience know that the magazine must be music related. The fact that the note is made of newspaper could also mean that the magazine has a lot to say about new music so the audience can rely on them to provide good content. The red and black colour scheme has connotations of mystery and excitement, red often referring to heightened moments and usually anger contrasting with the black which is often used for impurity and deception, which entices the audience to want to pick it up and find out what the magazine is about. The lack of cover-lines and taglines make the magazine illusive having the reader questioning what could this magazine possibly be about which then makes them more enticed to purchase the magazine. This magazine would most likely appeal to young people aged 16-20 due to the jagged front cover making it look edgy and different compared with neatly displayed magazines giving it an advantage in a market where perfection is needed.
Planning: When putting together this magazine together we didn't focus on the writing and more so on the imagery which is to our detriment because we now don't have much to analyse about it apart from its physical appearance.
